This is the first time in 45 years that we’ve visited the Washington area. We came to visit the Washington Temple just a few minutes away and road the Metro a short walk away, into the city.

The "tapestry" hotels, as we found out, are independent hotels in the Hilton chain, so the whole experience was new and interesting. The hotel clearly had seen better days and was indeed a luxury place at some point-not so much nowadays, but regardles, a pleasant stay. The staff was very welcoming and friendly, helpful, answering all our questions. The best feature in the room was the combination bathroom/dressing room, which had a tub/shower combo, plus sink with very large countertop, in addition to clothes and luggage storage, refrigerator and coffee machine; it was a whole big, separate room with all the amenities one could look for in a hotel.

We loved that parking was included and that the location was close to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. If we wanted a meal, we could eat in the hotel restaurant or at any of the surrounding eateries. The hotel staff is POLISHED. Each and every employee seemed to have a personal mission to ensure the comfort of each and every guest. They are 5-Star-Service Educated!

The overall hotel experience was nice and comfortable. I love the pool on the roof top but I feel there should be drinks and snack served up there.

We liked the location and value. Rooms were comfortable and it was nice to go downstairs to the bar in the evening.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Easy location to find and navigate. Rooms are quiet and clean, bathroom was nice. Blackout curtains are very appreciated.

Easy 1.3 mi walk or shuttle to NIH if you are going there In the middle of Bethesda's art and restaurant district for great food halfway between two metro stops staff are incredibly helpful, professional and nice Pool on roof is great spot with good furniture but needs someone tending the refreshment bar up there when it is warm and in use

The room was large and comfortable and neighborhood noise level was acceptable. Bar and restaurant on site, and a great Mexican restaurant just steps down the sidewalk. Front desk staff was helpful and pleasant.
